Style/Approach:
After seeing the "Finlake" holiday commercial, park owners Haulfryn commissioned two more commercials, this time for parks situated in North Wales. Pen y Garth was the second of the two to be made.

The aim for "Pen Y Garth" was not just to see the park, but to showcase the activities in the surrounding area of Bala. Local activity centres were contacted and they were more than happy to allow filming to take place at their sites. They included the Bala Lake Railway, the Watersports Centre and Get Wet, an outdoor high rope adventure site. Once again like in the previous "Finlake" advert, a family was shown enjoying the park and surrounding area.

Technical considerations:
A camera crane was used to help capture the excitement especially during the high ropes sequence. Being able to get the camera up high to see the action was essential. This was also the case when filming the activites on Bala lake. The camera was able to sweep out across the lake and get high enough to look down on the canoeing action and to show the vista of the lake and it's surroundings.
