Ben Pavord as Mr. Krispie Mr. Krispie first started out as a short produced by the the team behind "Katie's Mission" (2004) who formed a group called "One Location Films", the purpose of which was to produce short films, in one location, and that must be completed in one day. "The original Krispie was a great success with audiences but I always felt technically it could have been better. It started out as a fun learning experience but we all saw it had bigger potential if it was done better." comments Director Paul Dudbridge. "Mr.Krispie" is the story of a man who lives alone and is ridiculed by the local kids as he doesn't do much but watch kids TV and eat his favourite ceral. But it's these kind of characters who hide dark secrets...

The orignal team were brought back with a few additions almost a year to the shooting of the original. "There's always a danger of completely re-shooting movies that were originally admired. Trying to capture that magic that made the first on so interesting." comments actor Ben Pavord. "We were very consious of this and made every shot match the original with the same performances from the actors."

Photography took place in Bristol on Saturday 2nd July, with the team managing to once again complete the film in one day. Sound Recordist and actor Dave Parsons comments, "We got the film done, but it was a longer shoot, the first one was shot in 6 hours, this one took 12. Long day, but lighting set ups were bigger and that always takes the time."

New-comer Gaby John was brought in as a last minute replacement for Shaun Steer who was absent due to illness. "She was a true professional" comments co-star Jon Napier, "we showed Gaby the original movie and said 'this is what you're doing and we have 2 hours to get it, okay?'". "It was a test to thinking on your feet" adds Lisa Ruthven, "We only had one day to shoot, so the scene had to be done but was adapted for Gaby being a girl, rather than a direct replacement for Shuan's character we changed it so instead of two bullies we had one, (Jon) who was then being told to leave the poor Mr. Krispie alone by his girlfriend."
