LISA RUTHVEN: Actor/Co-ordinator Biography Having left Gloucestershire University in 1995 with a Honorary Degree in English Studies and Performing Arts, Lisa worked as a music journalist for the Evening Post. Being far too old and decrepid to actually join the ITV Television Workshop, Lisa offered her services on a voluntary basis and ended up helping teach the 9-12 groups. Within a year she had taken over the teaching of the group, and within two years had become a fully-fledged Workshop Co-Ordinator. In 2007 Lisa now has taken the position of workshop leader. After replying to an advert in a local newspaper, Lisa met Director Paul Dudbridge who cast her in a supporting role in The Last Contract (2001) and then worked with her again in the World War 2 Drama Katie's Mission (2003). The two are co-producing the new joint effort production "The Perfect Date" in 2007.
