Biography
Emily began her acting career at the age of 9 when got the main role of ‘Alice’ in “Alice in Wonderland“. She was accepted into the ITV West television workshop later that year where she got her first professional role in a “MacDonalds” advert. Emily has been a member at ITV for over 10 years now, within which time she has achieved leading roles and professional work including a recent leading role of ‘Chelsea Keep’ in BBC’s “Casualty“, the leading role of a serial killer in an ITV film “Tiger Stripes” and appearances on “Teachers TV“.
At ITV Emily has been studying, film, television and theatre where she has been given the opportunity to act in various short films and theatre productions for instance her main role of ‘Viola’ in “Twelfth Night”. Alongside this Emily has taken part in many other film, television and theatre productions including lead roles such as ‘Helena’ in “A Midsummer Nights Dream”, ‘Audrey’ in “Little Shop of Horrors”, ‘Sheila Birling’ in “An Inspector calls” and ‘Rose’ in “Esse Est Percipi”.
Alongside this she is also studying a degree in Theatre studies at the University of Plymouth as well as leading acting workshops for children and setting up a drama club at a children’s holiday club in Bristol. Emily loves acting for film, theatre and television and is looking forward to taking on more challenging roles in the future.
