DAVID HOPEWELL:
Actor

Biography

David's proud claim is to have been treading the boards for 60 years.

After a period of learning the ropes in college and youth theatre productions, he served 3 years as an army band musician before taking up a course in speech and drama in Bristol in the late 1950s.

David's theatrical experience covers a wide range of contemporary drama, light comedy and revue and includes numerous character roles in television and film drama. For the last 25 years, he has worked mainly as a voice-over - actor - presenter in commercial radio and television and corporate video productions.

Currently he says elderly gentleman roles have become a bit of a speciality - but someone's got to do 'em!
