Biography

Andy Cargill has been writing and producing music for over 5 years. His work has been used on Channel 4, ITV and various short films showcased at the infamous Cannes Film Festival. Andy's interest in music began at an early age and he eventually went on to study film and television at Plymouth University. After developing and managing a recording studio in Portishead, Andy and creative partner Matt White signed a management deal with 'Barter Management' and began working towards a contract with EMI Records. Andy went solo in 2004, deciding that he wanted more control over his future and 'Cargill' was born.

Andy was the narration and music recording enginner for "The Christmas Eve Snowfall". Working with Composer John Tippet, Andy working on his Pro Tools system was able to record and mix the instruments whilst working on the recorded narration by Joss Ackland, fine tuning the levels and frequencies for optimal sound quality.

Andy also runs "Kayto Sound" which is a ‘mobile based’ musical workshop provider primarily for young persons. They work with Youth Groups, Local Authorities, Special Needs, Excluded Youth People and Young Offenders.
