AMIE HIGGS:
Actor


Amie is currently in her final year of training at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts. After three years on BAPA's music theatre course she has participated in several revue shows and played roles such as Anita in "West Side Story", Liz in "Our Country's Good" and Brenda Parsley in "The Witches of Eastwick". She is soon to be appearing as the Cooking Stove in "Just So" at the Academy Theatre in Shepton Mallet.

Her performance history started way back when she began taking ballet lessons at the age of two. She soon progressed from skipping and pointing her toes to play main parts in several dance productions such as the Lion in the "Wizard of Oz" and Bert in "Mary Poppins".

For the last year Amie has been teaching young children singing and drama at the Tracy King Theatre School. For several years she has been earning her pocket money working at an adventure park in Gloucestershire. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching films and drinking tea.
